🤝 Working Toward Co-Empowerment
|
Seeing families as collaborative agents of change means working together to improve outcomes for students, schools, and communities. When schools authentically engage parents, they lead with parents’ self-interests—their hopes, wants, and dreams—in order to build genuine partnerships.

In an effort to empower families and strengthen our community, Community Schools hosted Café with Rosa to gather ideas, address concerns, answer questions, cultivate trust, and build lasting relationships. Strong connections with families and the community are the foundation for effective collaboration that improves student success and district performance.
Café with Rosa will now be offered monthly on the last Tuesday, 9 AM - 10:00 AM of each month. We hope you’ll join us!
Outcome of Rosa’s Cafe: Parents will bring their arts and crafts, baked goods and homemade meals to sell to the community, a Community Fair.
